The study, Survival in individuals with colorectal malignancy diagnosed by screening colonoscopy, viewed 312 patients in 10 gastroenterology methods in Germany, all aged 55 or old, who were identified as having CRC in 2003-2005. Of these, 60 individuals were diagnosed throughout a screening colonoscopy, indicating that they had no symptoms and/or just a negative fecal occult blood test . The other 252 patients experienced their cancers detected during a diagnostic colonoscopy, carrying out a positive FOBT and/or symptoms including abdominal discomfort, iron deficiency anemia, weight loss, changes in bowel behaviors, or anal bleeding.
